Dimas Salaberrios is a dynamic teacher and speaker with a passion for seeing the Lord transform lives once consumed with hopelessness, darkness and despair. This unwavering faith led him to fulfill a vision wherein Jesus could show Himself strong and shine the brightest. Therefore, Dimas founded and pastored Infinity NY Church located in the Bronx River Housing Projects. Bronx River holds the distinction of being the birthplace of hip hop, is located in a section of the South Bronx that has the youngest residents in NY State, and also has the poorest residents in the entire United States of America. In 2013, Infinity NY Church merged with Bronx Bible Church to become Infinity Bible Church. Pastor Dimas Salaberrios and Pastor Joe Fletcher now co-pastor Infinity Bible Church in the Bronx River Community.
Dimas has ministered the gospel of Jesus Christ on every continent except Antarctica. Some of Dimas’ ministry exploits include preaching throughout New Zealand, igniting a 3-month revival; smuggling Bibles to the persecuted church in China; training and equipping pastors, running feeding programs for orphans and widows, and extensive preaching throughout Kenya; guerrilla evangelism in Amsterdam’s notorious Red-Light District, on the “tubes” of London, the Alps of Switzerland, the hills of Venezuela and with the gangs of the Bronx; radio ministry and youth leader trainings in South Africa and much much more! In 2010, Dimas spearheaded a team of 4 men who were among the first responders to bring much needed aid, food and ministry to Haiti 5 days after the devastating earthquake. His efforts have been a lifeline to three camps in Haiti where he has sent over 50,000 tons of food and water and medical assistance and there is an ongoing rebuilding effort that has restored over 20 family homes to date. For three years, Dimas held the post of Associate Chaplain at The Children's Village—the largest residential treatment facility in the United States—where he pastored nearly 300 “at risk” young men each week. Dimas has also worked with World Vision and The Salvation Army. He was the Director of Youth for Christ–New York City, which galvanizes inner-city youth into making informed decisions about Christ.
In 2004, Dimas was appointed by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association to Co-Chair the Youth Committee of their 2005 Greater New York Crusade. One of his responsibilities as Co-Chairman was to coordinate the Prayer Breakfast. A huge success, the Prayer Breakfast was the largest Christian youth worker’s gathering ever held in the city of New York, and also the largest in Billy Graham Crusade’s 60-year history. Dimas was also chosen to be the Saturday-night opener of this historic event—Billy Graham’s last Crusade. Over 240,000 people attended.
In 2013, Concerts of Prayer Greater NY (COPGNY) unanimously chose Pastor Dimas Salaberrios as its new president. He has been on the COPGNY Board of Directors for several years, an organization that is the largest mobilizing force of pastors in the Tri-state area.
You can watch The Dynamic Life with Pastor Dimas weekly on the Word Network and catch his national radio broadcasts weekdays on Salem Communications. He is also a frequent contributor to the Love Express, the Tri-State area’s largest Christian newspaper, and his first book, "Street God" was released in September 2015.
Dimas holds a Master of Divinity degree from Alliance Theological Seminary and resides in the Bronx with the love of his life, his wife Tiffany. They have three beautiful daughters: Shirley Ann, Dallas and Skylar.
